Definition
A zero-click search is a query answered directly on the results page or by an AI engine, so the user never clicks through to a website.
As AI Overviews and answer engines satisfy more queries in place, classic click traffic falls. Being the cited source inside the zero-click answer becomes the way to stay visible.
